Her Imperial Highness Princess Tomohito of Mikasa received a special certificate from the IJF President to mark her appointment as IJF Judo Ambassador, during the IJF gala dinner held on the eve of the World Championships Tokyo 2019. Since then she has attended several major judo events and will be attending the World Judo Masters over the weekend, for the first time.

The meeting offered an occasion for the guests to exchange ideas about judo and its values and to highlight how important they are in our ever-changing world.
