Mongolia’s national team delivered standout performances, earning well-deserved spots on several podiums throughout the event. The host country’s judoka, Odgerel and Bold, clinched gold medals on day 2, eliciting pride and joy as the national anthem echoed through the arena, a moment cherished by the home crowd. The pinnacle of Mongolia’s team performance came in a gripping final showdown, where Gonchigsuren Batkhuyag triumphed over Japan’s Daigo Kagawa, securing victory and igniting celebrations among local fans.
