EC Meeting held at the InterContinental Grand Stanford, Hong Kong SAR, China
The primary focus of the meeting was to finalise preparations for the upcoming Asian Cadet and Junior Judo Championships scheduled to take place in Korea later this year. The EC approved the 2024 Event Organisation Guide (EOG) and Event Organisation Rules (EOR) to provide a framework for the successful hosting of this major continental championship.

Other key agenda items included reports from JUA’s various commissions and zones, as well as discussions around the 2024 JUA calendar and events planned for 2025. The EC also reviewed and approved the audited accounts of the JUA.

“This EC meeting was productive in aligning our continental federation on the path forward,” said JUA President Mr. AL-ANZIÂ Obaid. “We are confident that with these plans in place, the JUA will continue to grow the sport of judo across Asia in the years to come.”
The meeting concluded with a discussion of any other matters, underscoring the comprehensive nature of the EC’s agenda and its importance in guiding the strategic direction of the Judo Union of Asia.
