Beijing Olympics Judo gold medalist, Yang Xiuli, was invited by the Global Sports Council to visit Hong Kong on December 20, 2024. Over the course of two days, on December 20 and 21, she conducted judo competition skills training for young athletes from Hong Kong and Macau at the Global Sports Council’s training center in Hong Kong. Yang Xiuli also shared her competition experiences and insights with the young athletes, providing them with valuable knowledge and inspiration.
The visit of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Judo gold medalist, Yang Xiuli, to Hong Kong includes engaging with members of the Hong Kong Judo youth and training teams over the two days. The Judo Union looks forward to enhancing collaboration with the Capital Sports Academy Judo Team in talent development, aiming to cultivate more outstanding athletes in the field of judo.
