The JUA held an Executive Committee (EC) meeting and zone meetings at The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel in Bangkok on April 22, 2025. Subsequently, the Ordinary Congress – 2025 took place on April 23, 2025,

Discussions during the EC meeting and zone meetings included reports from directors, upcoming event calendars, and the approval of Audited Accounts.

Following the successful EC meeting and zone meetings, the Ordinary Congress – 2025 convened on the next day. The agenda included key items such as the approval of the minutes of the JUA Congress 2023 in Kuwait, reports from Executive Committee members, updates on the Asian Judo Championships 2025 in Bangkok, the report of the Asian Games 2026 in Japan, and the approval of the Audited Accounts of JUA 2024.

JUA Holds EC Meeting, Zone Meetings and Ordinary Congress 2025 Convenes in Bangkok

During the Ordinary Congress, a special moment unfolded as Mr. ROJANACHIVA Hassabodin, Vice-President of the South East Zone and President of the Judo Association of Thailand, was honored with a token of appreciation. The award was presented by JUA President Mr. Obaid Al-Anzi in recognition of Mr. ROJANACHIVA’s exceptional support and dedication to the sport of judo.

The Congress also addressed the allotment of the Asian Cadet & Asian Junior Judo Championships 2025 and the approval of the JUA Calendar 2025. The meetings provided a platform for fruitful discussions and decision-making to further the development and promotion of judo in the Asian region.
