The Macau Asian Cadet Cup 2026 concluded successfully on 25 July 2026, bringing together 121 cadet judoka from 13 nations for an exciting day of competition in Macau, China.
The tournament provided an important opportunity for Asia’s rising talents to gain valuable international experience while showcasing the high standard of cadet judo across the continent. Throughout the day, spectators witnessed determined performances, technical excellence and displays of the true spirit of judo.
Belarus topped the medal standings with an impressive haul of four gold and two bronze medals. Mongolia finished second with two gold and one silver medal, while Chinese Taipei placed third after winning one gold, three bronze, one fifth-place and two seventh-place finishes.
Kazakhstan also claimed a gold medal to finish fourth overall, while Australia secured four silver and two bronze medals. Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Macau, China, the Republic of Korea, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, the United States of America and Hong Kong, China also celebrated strong performances with athletes reaching the podium and final placing positions.
The event highlighted the growing strength and depth of cadet judo throughout Asia and beyond, providing young judoka with an excellent platform to develop their international competitive experience.
