The Aktau Asian Open 2025 concluded on October 12, 2025, after two days of competition at Halyk Arena, located in the 17th Microdistrict of Aktau, Kazakhstan. Organized by the Judo Union of Asia (JUA) with the support of the Kazakhstan Judo Federation, the event gathered 211 competitors from 9 nations, including 131 men and 80 women, to contest across 14 weight categories
Uzbekistan Claims Top Spot
Uzbekistan dominated the medal table, finishing first with 5 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals, followed by Kazakhstan in second place with 4 gold, 5 silver, and 15 bronze medals. Azerbaijan took third with 3 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals, while Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Hong Kong SAR, China also reached the podium.

Uzbekistan’s victories included standout performances by Mukhammadkodir Mansurov (+100kg), Ernazar Sarsenbaev (-100kg), and Fotimakhon Tursunboeva (-48kg), all winning gold.

The Aktau Asian Open 2025 showcased both established and emerging judoka from Asia and Europe, contributing valuable IJF World Ranking points and providing a key testing ground ahead of upcoming continental tournaments.
